Firstly, this is a snapshot of current detainees in ICE and Border Patrol detention, which fluctuates constantly. You can't use a snapshot and imply it's the full story.
The full trend during the trump era is of mainly noncriminal detemtion.

Secondly, the 'CONVICTED' (as you put it) includes such heinous crimes as running a stop light or jaywalking. Compared to your vote destabilizing democracy, we're not sure you should be casting stones.
Thirdly, such convictions, again mostly nonviolent, may have been decades old, with fines and jail time (if any) long since served.
We can't stress this enough: your data is unqualified and vague... which is what you wanted. Detail humanizes these people and you don't want that

Fourth, ICE custody isnt jail, as you seem to imply. These people aren't in custody serving sentences, and letting them go isn't like they're being given pardons. Their detention has nothing to do with their CONVICTED status, to use your all-caps hyperventilation.
So, in summary: Equating a nonradical plan to a bogus snapshot that doesn't fit the trends about crimes that arent defined or qualified implying we're letting people out of jail when we actually aren't.
