First, uhhh, Benedict Arnold? I'm not sure I even see the logic they're reaching for other than "you do treason, you bad, like Benedict Arnold."
Second, the citations here are pretty bonkers and a sign of the utterly fringe stuff that Oregon Republicans are reading these days. Imagine expecting the world to not laugh in your face when you cite the Epoch Times and Just The News dot com.
Finally. The Oregon GOP giving a positive shout out to Jacobin magazine is just a perfect testimony to the scrambled nature of our politics today.
