One nice thing about using a DLSR for a webcam is I can finally create a custom white balance profile for my skintone and not use the default that comes with most webcam software (which historically struggles with POC skin)

Thread for advanced DSLR webcam settings for POCs!
(although for some reason my video settings seem to be flipped on my Nikon 7500 and higher K's are translating to warmer hues?? i need to look into this 🤔)
I also adjust the tint to be slightly green. I don't always wear makeup and I have some redness in my skin that shows up on all 4K. Adding a small amount of green to the white balance will counteract this. Adding magenta does the opposite. This is important for undertones!!
If you find your skin looks a little sallow on camera (i.e. too much yellow) you may want to try adding a small amount of magenta tint to your camera settings
And of course, I also use custom temperatures on my ring light. I will often use a warmer temp on camera (anywhere from 4400-5200K)
These are things that have worked for me as an East Asian with peach undertones. A lot of different variables come into play here in making POC look amazing on webcams, especially the quality of light that you're using, but I hope this helps!
