Conclusion-Generally conclusion is at the end but I would like to give it at top.The JK Riyasat was bifurcated and long pending demand of nationalists of abrogating 370, 35 A was fulfilled on 8 Aug 2019 converting it to a UT with assembly while Ladakh became a UT without assembly

JK ceased to have separate flag, constitution. The main motive of it has been to do demographic change in favour of India, snatching security and police grid from Chief Minister to Centre appointed LG, making JK assembly virtually powerless(Just like Delhi Assembly),controlling

regional imbalance vis a vis Jammu vs Kashmir and bring overall sense of security and peace in region. However there has been no real demographic change in favour of India. Infact the deep state has diluted all the gains,

, by creating so many loopholes that JK post 370 looks almost similar to JK before abrogation on ground. Merely giving coverup by development projects, administrative overhauls wont solve problem.

Jamu which supported abrogation bore the brunt of centre’s appeasement as it took Jammu for granted.There’s no way India can control highly radicalized society unless it does permanent demographic change in Kashmir.I might sound a Sanghi but even a common man wants a stable India

Good
1. 73 ammendment- The biggest achievement so far has been to successfully conduct Panchayat elections, DDC, Block, Municipal elections. J&K saw these grassroot elections for first time after 15 years.

2. Central acts, RTI, all enacted on J&K- Out of 354 State laws in the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir, 164 laws have been repealed, 138 laws modified while 170 central laws have been made applicable.
There has been a 262% increase in minority scholarships

Also, five corporations have been set up to unbundle power department corporations, and government funds worth Rs 1000 crores parked outside have been located and channelled into the consolidated fund.

3. New employment avenues- Though late, but the recruiting agencies have started giving bumper job opportunities in government sector owing to 16%+ unemployment. Govt targets to give 70,000+ jobs. 10,000+ have already been notified.

4. Decline in corruption
5. Better Covid management-One of the best in India. Sealing the only entry point with India was a master stroke by Babus.
6. Better citizen grievances- very responsive online grievance portals.
7. Decline in Stone pelting and increase in general security

10. Voting rights to POK refugees and west Pakistan refugees for the first time.- Besides restoring the right to property for many Kashmiri women and children,

the scrapping of Article 370 and Article 35A in one stroke ended the discrimination against marginalised communities like the Valmikis, Gorkhas, Dalits and LGBTQIA individuals. Now, 170 more Central laws are applicable in the Union Territory.

More than 20,000 West Pakistan refugees have got domicile rights, citizenship, and Rs 5.5 lakh per family. Nearly 10,000 safai karmacharis or sanitation workers are now legitimate domiciles with access to all rights and privileges.

15. Power projects: Union Power Minister RK Singh and Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik jointly inaugurated 15 power projects and laid the foundation stone for 20 others worth Rs 10,000 crore on September 2019.

16.Kashmiri Pandits:3,000 government jobs created for the Kashmiri migrants at an outlay of Rs 1,080 crores. the selection process has been concluded in respect of 1781 posts and 604 candidates have joined in different departments as on 22nd February 2020

These jobs are in addition to the 3000 state government jobs approved under the Prime Minister's package-2008, against which 2,905 jobs have been filled, according to MoS for
Construction of 6,000 transit accommodations at an outlay of Rs 920 crores

for accommodating 3000 Kashmiri migrants employed under PMRP- 2008 and for 3000 additional migrants under PMDP-2015. 849 flats have already been constructed.
The Centre also reimburses monthly cash relief to the eligible Kashmiri migrants settled in Jammu

Since the year 2014, the monthly cash relief has been enhanced twice i.e. from Rs 6600/- per family to Rs 10,000/- per family in 2015 and to Rs 13,000/- per family in 2018. In addition, the dry ration is also provided to these Kashmiri migrants.

Bad
1. Language-Dogri is the common language in Jammu and Kashmiri in Kashmir while pre 370,JK forced Urdu as official. The new setup ignores these scheduled languages and instead mandates English and Hindi as official languages of UT.All the Dogri Channels have been brought down

2.PSC/SSB-long demand of people 2 bifurcate SSB and PSC- (2 recruiting agencies for govt jobs)separately fr Jammu and Kashmir division.the biggest issue of anti Kashmir sentiment in Jammu as there have been regular examples of mass cheating/corruption in favour of Kashmir in jobs

Even the seats/govt jobs in Jammu division used to be filled by Kashmiris. No change in this setup after 370 abrogation. Jammu continues to suffer as 70% govt jobs still getting grabbed by Kashmir.

3. New districts in Jammu- Jammu is 1.5x bigger than Kashmir and more hilly than Kashmir. Still it has equal districts as that of Kashmir. Even after 370, BJP has constantly rejected creation of new districts of Sunderbani, Basoli/Bilawar,Ramnagar,Bhaderwah,Bishnah.

4. 4G Ban- perhaps the biggest hardship which Centre gave to commoners is banning internet services. Even after 2.5 years, 4G services stand banned in entire UT. Even 90%+ hindu areas of Jammu,Kathua,Samba don’t have 4G network. Security reasons could be understood in Kashmir

but even during severest uprisings in Kashmir, there was never internet blockade in jammu division, Srinagar City etc. This has destroyed budding IT economy in UT. Fibre internet companies are on an organized loot.

5.Toll plaza- Going against the norms of minimum distance on toll plazas, the BJP led administration has built 6 Toll plazas around Jammu charging daily hefty prices that too when 60-65% freight traffic of the state is on Roads. There has been no toll plaza in Kashmir.

6.Creation of new industrial clusters- Even after giving tall promises of industrial clusters, no new cluster has been set up even after 2.5 years. The already esisting industrial belt of Kathua-Samba is dying slowly due to poor Industrial Policy, heavy taxation and toll plazas.

7. Fraud delimitation- it has been clear that Census 2011 was manipulated in favour of muslim areas of jammu and Kashmir. The JK Reorg. Act and newly setup delimitation commission aims to create an assembly based on 2011 census

This will nullify whatever BJP wanted to gain in J&K as it will give 60% seats to Kashmir again creating pre 370 situation

8. 6th schedule for ladakh- Coming to Laddakh, this UT has run to a chaos when it comes to demography. With rapidly collapsing Budhist India either needs to encourage few budhist to settle or keep it open so that H from Jammu could balance out as they migrate most to ladakh

9.Domicile and land laws- The most controversial and lax step the govt ever took.main motive of 370- abrogation was to bring demographic changes in favour of India.govt comes up with Domiciles to existing people but soon it amends it forbidding outsiders to claim domiciles.

Then it passes land laws after 1 year, converting 80% land to agricultural land and mandating domicile for buying land except industrialists and business. What was the fun of abrogating 370-35 A when on the other side, no onw would be allowed to buy land to settle in J&K?

10.All the mega projects of are 0 except PM Package-Tawi lake,front,Tourism parks,AIMS Jammu,Jmu international airport,Srinagar Metro Rail,Kashmir AIIMS,16 new Universities,Medicity in Kashmir,Dry Ports,Special economic zones,IT Parks all of which came out to be propaganda.

11. No settlement of Kashmiri pundits- Except some transit flats, no real headway in settling Kashmiri Hindus along with other hindus in consolidated place in Eastern half.

Panun Kashmir demand of creating Settlement colonies like Jewish settlements in West Bank are still on papers. No actual demographic change in Kashmir in favour of India.

12. Assassinations of sarpanches and people- The worst thing where BJP failed. Few people in Kashmir, went against diktat of Jammat and fought elections for BJP in Panchayats. Sadly India could not provide security to them

Till now 17 Sarpanches have been assassinated in Kashmir. 6 Kashmiri pandit Sarpanches, 2 govt officers, 1 election officer, 7 BJP workers have been assassinated and no one could save them.

13. U turn on roshni- The very claim of demographic invasion of Jammu on which BJP came to power in Jammu. BJP had promised to demolish illegal settlements in Jammu on govt land. Except few cases, BJP took a U turn on it and stopped evicting illegal encroachers.

14. No decision on rohingya- jamu still has 15K+ Rohingyas who r regularly caught in crimes. No decision on them
15. Arbitrary arrests-would avoid it. Even a nationalist who speaks against bureau***** can be arrested on ***dition. Talking about common hind** too.

17. Wrong BJP propaganda on media- The media is cleverly showing propaganda of development. Any good which happens in Jammu is shown as in Kashmir to create a propaganda of polar change. Development has happened no doubt, but it is not that significant.
