Noa Lang has been one of my favourite young players in Europe for a while now and this season he's started, unsurprisingly, to make an impact at senior level. So I thought I'd take a look and see just *how* good he's been.

Creatively, Lang's a bit of a wizard. He's always had great vision in the final third but crucially he has the technique, patience and weight of pass to match. He receives the ball well, orientates towards goal with urgency and is adept at poking holes in a low block.
Positionally a left-winger, he's at his best when allowed to freely roam infield, occupy half-spaces and take up positions in the box. He's a composed finisher too, capable on either foot he tends to opt for placement over power, which has served him well so far this season.
Lang is particularly lethal in transition, although quite slight he accelerates well and is equally quick in full stride. His touch and aforementioned demeanour in front of goal rarely let him down and make for a clinical scorer in one-on-one situations.
What I like most about him though is that he's always looking to provide an attacking impetus. When Lang collects the ball he takes responsibility, looks to progress it and make something happen and for someone his age, he succeeds in doing so at a pretty high rate.
He's got a lot of flair too, which is always fun. He's 21-years-old so there are flaws. His decision making needs some work at times and he can still drift out of games but this is his first full season at senior level and for ÂŁ5.40m, Club Brugge have got themselves a bargain.
