Hypnosis event attendees: we need to talk.
PLEASE don't assume that it's appropriate to trance out to a presenter who is teaching or demonstrating hypnosis.
Unless the presenter explicitly states it's meant for a group experience, the trance is for the presenters.

I have seen people in my classes bragging how hypnotized they got. People on camera flopped out.
It feels awful. I am sharing an intimate experience and trying to educate.
I understand getting caught sometimes. But take yourself out, be respectful, and pay attention.

Would you trance out watching two partners doing a scene near you? Of course not. That's their experience, tailored to each other, where they are sharing intimacy.
A class is no different except they are doing it for your benefit so you might learn something by watching.

Online teaching is relatively new and I know we are all figuring out our lines for what is appropriate. But after nearly a year of doing it and seeing people going to classes to get some trance, I needed to say something.
