2/ More than 1,400 workers at the Bronx-based hub — responsible for supplying 60% of the region’s produce — went on strike at midnight on Jan. 17.

11/ Later that night, @TeamstersJC16 Local 202 officials announced they had reached a tentative agreement with management and would move to a vote.

12/ Then, early on Saturday morning, @TeamsterJC16 Local 202 members voted to ratify the new three-year contract. Officials said 97% of the union members voted in favor of it.

13/ What’s in the new contract?
an immediate 70-cent/hr raise, growing to $1.85/hr over 3 years
no changes to family healthcare coverage
no additional out-of-pocket costs for health care benefits
