Riley June has me thinking about the last time I got called for jury duty. There was a lot wrong with the Jackson County, MO questioning process, but one part stands out.
It was going very very long. We were there until almost 9pm. Around 4 a man behind me asked to be let go

He had kids and the sitter wouldn't be able to watch them past 5:30. The judge excused him, but only to find a phone and arrange other babysitting. Then a young white woman also asked to be let go. She had a nonrefundable yoga class.
Judge sent her on her way

I'm sure you've guessed that the dad was a black man. I have no proof, but I suspect that he wouldn't have been let go for a yoga class either. He was there until 9 and did not get chosen for the jury.

Reminded me of Ms. Williams because it's another young white woman who gets a judge to go sweet & gentle for her. This woman tried to overthrow the government. Then she stole property from @SpeakerPelosi & tried to sell it to Russia. After the judge let mommy watch her

She tried to get other insurrectionists to destroy evidence.
I guess she could have done something truly horrible, like forget to signal. Maybe if she voted or had a kid who didn't do homework. /s
Don't look at this mess and say "This isn't who we are" it is and we suck
