1) STRONGER THAN FEAR! 🇺🇲 Remembering Private Stanley Kraft from Brooklyn, New York, an American hero who died way too far from home, and was far too young to die. During WWII, Stanley decided to join the U.S. Army, and hugged his parents Samuel and Rose for the very last time.
2) As a proud member of the 378th Infantry Regiment, 95th Infantry Division, he fought in France before confronting the forces of tyranny on their homeland. Stanley knew what would happen if he got captured by German soldiers, but his courage was stronger than fear.
3) Day after day, he saw the ravages of war, and witnessed so many comrades die, but he kept moving forward, until December 2nd, 1944. On that fateful day, Stanley was badly wounded by enemy fire and fell to the ground. He was quickly transported to a medical aid station.
4) Doctors and nurses did everything they could to save Stanley, but the following day, he died from his wounds. Private Stanley Kraft was only 19 years-old. This American hero is resting in peace at the Lorraine American Cemetery in France.🇺🇲
