First thing that jumps out to me is DT.
Star Lotulelei is coming back and Bills will hope he returns to form because that contract ain't going anywhere. That puts Quinton Jefferson and/or Vernon Butler squarely on the bubble. Butler played less and creates more savings.

The Bills need more production from defensive end, too.
Mario Addison will be 34 next year and Jerry Hughes will be 33. Doubt they cut Hughes, who is a leader in the locker room, but they need better play from this group and these two are expensive. (Epenesa needs to step up.)

John Brown, in my opinion, can still play at a high level (when he's healthy).
The question for Beane & Co. will be if that production is worth $9.5 M to them. His dead cap hit is quite manageable. With the emergence of Gabe Davis, I think Brown is on the bubble.

How are we feeling about Mitch Morse? I think he'll be back, but if the front office wants to upgrade they could make him a post-June 1 cut to increase the cap savings and spread the dead cap hit out over two years.

People were mad at Devin Singletary yesterday and he did get benched for a while, and he definitely wasn't as electric as his rookie season, but cutting him hardly saves any money.

So, let's add it up. Just picking some names based on $$.
If the #Bills were to cut John Brown, Vernon Butler, Mario Addison and Lee Smith, that would create over $23 million in cap space (I'm rounding).
That's a good chunk of change for Brandon Beane to work with.

Could also see some restructures on the horizon. An easy way is converting base salary to a bonus, which gives the player more money now and allows the team to spread out the cap hit. The catch is it ups their dead cap, so only do it for ppl you def want around. Diggs, Tre, etc.
