Sure, for the best weather in America and exceptional quality of life. And yes, for the fact that I grew up in SoCal and have family in the region.

San Diego is primed for leadership in consumer and commerce. @jaimeschmidt and I are ready to plug in, supporting the sectorâs growth.
Iâm optimistic that Mayor @ToddGloria will seize the opp to leverage San Diegoâs multicultural qualities into an emerging consumer startup hub.

Aside from economic and cultural diversity, an abundance of recreation, and *the food*, San Diego promises proximity to L.A., Mexico, Vegas, Joshua Tree, & more.
Weâll be spending time throughout the region, particularly L.A.

After 15 years of building businesses here, it hurts to leave. Especially with the city facing so many challenges. But 2020 rocked us, and our perspective has fundamentally shiftedâitâs time for our next chapter.
