ใ…ก i know alot of us miss traveling! Here are some of my favorite places to visit & what we did last Winter and Summer. So here are some ideas for your next trip. I'll be adding some tips and tricks when wandering around the city ๐ŸŒธโœจ
Tip #1: don't forget your pocket wifi! It's much cheaper than using data. You can rent one online and pick it up in Incheon airport. There are alot of kiosks there too so you can rent one on-site. Some pocket wifis can connect up to 5 people on one device.
Disclaimer btw! ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ Don't forget we're still in the middle of a pandemic. I do not recommend traveling for leisure right now. Just decided to do this thread for future reference โœจ
Tip #2! Purchase a T-money card/T-card. It makes subway trips and bus trips easier. You can buy these T-cards at local convenience stores. Take note, you can't share the T-cards because you'd have to "tap in" and "tap out".
Tip #3: When getting off the bus, don't forget to tap your card โ€ผ๏ธ Otherwise, you'll be charged twice next time Ex: bus fare is โ‚ฉ1,500 (but you forgot to tap the card when you got off), the next time you get on a bus it will charge you the previous fare on top of the new fare
Tip #4! Google maps won't help you in Korea. Instead, download Kakao Maps on the app store. It's easier to navigate. You can also log in too bookmark places.
Tip #5 This is my favorite one because I swear it will save your life. Download Kakao Metro!! You simply type in your current location and destination and it'll show you which line to get on, transfers and stops. I used this all the time. I'll include an example

Tip: mention @twtextapp on a Twitter thread with the keyword โ€œunrollโ€ to get a link to it.
