Kobe Bryant & Kanye West

The Same Path In Two Different Worlds

A Long Thread
In the year 2010, both Kanye & Kobe showed the world why deserved the respect and the title of one of the greatest of all time at the time.
They were both criticized for being assholes, arrogant and having big egos. Kanye especially since he made that bitch famous. (GODDAMN)
Even with the criticism that have Ye and Kobe gotten, they both showed that even though it’s

Me vs The World for both Kanye and Kobe , they had expectations to face and goddamn did they beat the shit out of em. 💀😭
Kobe came off winning the 2009 NBA Finals proving that he was able to win without Shaq, but 🤡s (critics) said he didn’t play the Celtics big four (KG, Rondo, Pierce, and Ray Allen)
Kanye came off 808s & Heartbreaks with a hit single Heartless. At the time, people didn’t like the direction of where he was going musically, they said he changed. This is where the “I Miss The Old Kanye” narrative started, and the Taylor Swift situation.
People said they both weren’t going to do it. The expectations were too high for both to exceed. There’s no way.
But Then It Happened
Both Kobe And Kanye showed what true hard work and dedication is.
Both proved if you really believe in yourself and grind, you’ll get to where you want to be.

Both Legends.

Both Goats🐐
These two accomplishments are similar because they are both the most talked about event that has happened in their respected legacy.

Kanye’s FIFTH studio album.
Kobe’s FIFTH ring

Both impacted a whole generation of people.

Both are certified legends.
Every time I shoot a fadeaway I scream Kobe. Even though I never saw you in your prime, I’ve heard countless stories of how great you were because of my grandpa. You and him are prolly talking rn.

RIP Grandpa
