Who's been the better player after their respective transfers, Miralem Pjanic or Arthur Melo?

- A thread
Notes:

* All stats are p90

* All defensive stats are Posession adjusted (Would be terrorism if they weren't)

* SCA stands for Shot-Creating-Actions

* xA is the only stat for the whole season.
In this thread we'll judge their seasons so far into these categories:

- Build-up passing
- Ball Carrying
- Creativity
- Defensive contribution
Let's start with their Build-up passing;

Passes | Progressive passes | Yards progressed

Arthur: 64 | 4.6 | 301
Pjanic: 83 | 7.2 | 345

Pjanic is a much better player when it comes to build up even though he doesn't play as deep, Arthur clearly needs to improve.
Now into their Ball carrying ability;

Carries | Progressive carries | Yards progressed | Dispossessed

Arthur: 56.9 | 4.3 | 120 | 0.73
Pjanic: 64.9 | 3.8 | 118 | 0.69

Their stats on the ball are very similiar, Pjanic carries more and Arthur progresses more, minimal differences.
Alas! Their creativity;

xA | SCA | Passes into Att. 3rd

Arthur: 0.6 | 1.8 | 4.6
Pjanic: 0.8 | 4.1 | 8.5

Pjanic absolutely takes this part, although both of them play fairly deep, Pjanic still manages to become a creative threat in every passage of play.
Defensive contributions;

Tackles + Interceptions | Succ. pressures

Arthur: 2.0 | 3.2
Pjanic: 3.5 | 3.8

Both of them play as DLP's, where they are relieved from the typical defensive chores of Mids, but Pjanic still plays a huge influence in the defensive part of the game.
In conclusion, Pjanic is having a great season, much better than Arthur's, although both have been good. Arthur currently has not played as a proper DLP but his recent improvements in overcoming his fear of playing long balls is promising. Koeman MUST start Pjanic as well.
