2/4. 42 game season are taking their toil on the pitch and frost and snow aren't helping. The club look at different remedies to protect it. The first letter is from Mr Thomson (former Chairman of Morton FC) with his tender and a few replies to a Leeds based bed manufacturer.
3/4 Leicester FC had trialled a huge marquee inflated with hot air to protect the pitch. Spink Beds had a similar idea but the canvas held up with giant bed springs. They still operate under the name of Harrison (good name) Spink Beds out of Beeston.
4/4 What is remarkable tho is that Don Revie is replying on behalf of the club. Not only leading us to glory home and abroad with a relatively small squad but getting involved at grass roots level too!! Did Bielsa have input this time? Will it have 49ers logo plastered around it?
