I'm not in on those conspiracy theories about HBO MAX nerfing the potential of Zack Snyder's Justice League by barely promoting, stalling on announcing a release date, giving us no new trailers, and releasing it during a stacked month.

But I will say: They're not helping.
From my vantage point, it seems that their priorities have shifted.

When they agreed to finish & release it, it was at a time when Hollywood was shut down and there was going to be an entertainment dead-zone for the early part of 2021.

But then the whole film slate went to Max.
Now, instead of it being a centerpiece exclusive for HBO Max, it's merely one piece of a much larger puzzle- with the emphasis being on the newer films WB is pushing, not an alternate cut of a 2017 movie.

So I think it's a shift in priorities, not sabotage.
And it's interesting to ponder if they would've greenlit ZSJL at all if they'd known at the time that the entire 2021 WB movie slate was going to end up coming to HBO Max.
