Market research is undoubtedly crucial to enter any kind of field with success

Yet most people dont't do it at all or do it poorly

This Thread helps you to get it right from the start

Let's go! 🧵
1/17
The first thing you need to know is it doesn't have to take several days, weeks, months or even years

It can be done in a couple of hours

Right now you think it's impossible or that the research will be insufficient

But bare with me and I'll show you how it's possible

2/17
Instead of searching for what your competitors are doing

You focus on what the competitors customers are saying about their products

This is how gold is found

Find out what's good and what's bad about their products and write it down

This is called Qualitative research

3/17
Organize it by the Jobs-to-be-Done theory

That is:

Everything you buy benefits you in 3 ways

Functional – What does it do, how does it help with writing, etc.
Emotional – how hard it is, how it can be easier, etc.
Financial – How valuable is it, am I saving money, etc.

4/17
Your new product must benefit the buyer in all three of these sections even more than your competitors

And that is what we're looking for in the customer reviews

Content is key here so don't write to much

Focus on what is essential to what you're selling and cut the rest

5/17
When you have a clear path of what the customers wants and don't wants you know if what you can offer will sell or not

If you can offer what the customers wants, you start doing the Quantitative research

That is the data, numbers and results

6/17
You start by finding a name for your product

Why?

Because you need it to connect to a keyword people already are searching for

If nobody is seaching for it

Nobody will find it and you will have a hard time making sales

This is where you start with keyword research

7/17
If the product will be on Amazon

You check what exact keyword are most valuable and yet not used as a title or subtitle of another product

If you are going to have videos linked to the product

You look at YouTube what keywords have the best value with least competition

8/17
You must of course also see what keywords are being searched on Google.

You compile your findings and rank them according to the best keywords to use.

Not the most searched for!

But those where you have a shot at being in the top ranks

9/17
At this point you know exactly

- What the audience wants to buy
- What to name your product
- What keywords to rank for

The only things left are to execute the plan and to write the sales letter

This is easy even if you think writing is hard

You're basically done

10/17
Remember all the research of what the customers want and don't want

That has almost finished your whole sales letter

The research has become the copy that persuades the readers to go from interested to a buyer

The reader knows what you're selling is exatly what they want
11/17
I've now told you how to follow the basic blueprint

And I realize this is all theory until you see for yourself how it works

So I'm happy to show you the newest addition to our website, it actually Shows you how to do this
