Women excluded everytime a constitutional reset on these islands occurs - 1921, 1937, 1998 - talk of inclusion never transpires - whatever the outcome - continuing as we are or something different - women need to be heard & involved - including listening to all past harms 2/9

Mincéirí are consistently excluded - a vital community of people - living across the islands - who are discriminated against at every turn - whatever the shape of the constitutional settlement that needs to end & they need to be in that process as equals 3/9

Similarly the LGBT community - we've come far - but far more to do - what kind of Ireland - united or partitioned - what kind of islands - what kind of states do people want to live in 4/9

Working class and rural voices - not the patrician/religious/or other condescending voices of 'help' who know best but have never delivered. 5/9

Mother and Baby Home Report would make you think everybody was white and catholic in the Republic before the 1990s, that was never the case & it most certainly is not now - the island is better for that - it could be even better if everyone was properly heard and involved 6/9

We also need to have a positive vision on the outcomes either way - how do these islands do better if the border stays, how do we do better if it goes 7/9

Also - there are no constitutional/legal rules about what kind of islands we can all be - there is no ideal way of doing referendums or constitutional assemblies, or conducting polls - the GFA provides the template & ongoing rights guarantees - but 8/9

Ireland, Northern Ireland or the UK have no constitut answers already or the ideal way of doing this - Thomas Paine maintained every generation is as capable as the last at making their states - whatever the outcome - we are not bound by constitut that are there.
