Palestinian elections?
Sunday, Israeli intelligence summoned a Hamas leader,
the freed prisoner Sheikh Omar Barghouti ["Abu Asif"],
from Ramallah to Ofer detention center, warned Sheikh Omar not to run in the upcoming elections, and threatened him with prison + prosecution...

This summons [re: Palestinian elections] comes
about two weeks after Sheikh Omar Barghouti
most recent release from Israeli prisons, after nine months
in Administrative Detention. He has spent nearly 28 years
in Israeli jails, including 13 years in Administrative Detention

Sheikh Omar is from Kobar, west of Ramallah. One of his sons, Saleh Al-Barghouti, was killed in Dec 2018 by Israeli undercover forces in Surda village when he was being sought as a suspect in the drive-by shooting near Ofra settlement on Road 60 that wounded a pregnant Israeli...

...whose baby boy was delivered prematurely in an emergency operation in a Jerusalem hospital to save her life, the newborn infant died in the ICU a few days later...

Another of Sheikh Omar Barghouthi's sons, Asim Barghouti, is serving a long-term jail sentence.

And, @PalinfoAr reports, Sheikh Omar's brother, Nael Barghouti, is now the longest serving Palestinian prisoner
in Israeli jails [some 40 years, incl after his conviction in
1978 for the murder of an Israeli, then again after re-arrest following his release in the Shalit deal.

Per this @PalinfoAr article, Sheikh Omar and his brother, Nael Barghouti, were both initially convicted for "carrying out a commando operation" in which an "Israeli settler was killed in 1978"...
