It was extremely disturbing in all of the best ways. As far as TV goes, I was born in ‘72 so the retro look and feel of each episode is both nostalgic and clever. Personally, I do think it’s hilarious...and uncomfortable. Which I suspect is the intent of the creators...
I suspect, if anything, the problem some may find with the show isn’t actually the show. It’s the viewers lack of patience in storytelling. Binge watching has become an expectation for many people. Add to that the desire for instant gratification...
