These lineup numbers are... INSANE.

Have to start Looney over Wiseman (and I am an anti-Looney guy)...

It's not Oubre... it's Wiseman... I mean it's also Oubre, but it's mainly Wiseman who *still* just isn't a very good basketball player at this point.
Still can't get over my check-in on the Warriors' bball ref pages... So I have to tag people, and do a little assistant coaching for Steve and the gang...

I call this "Solving the Warriors"

@AndyKHLiu @samesfandiari @GrantLiffmann
I call this one "Warriors 5-man combos, 3 chapters - good, bad, ugly"

-Warriors starting group firmly in the "ugly" chapter.
- Wiseman's general absence from the "good" chapter.
- 3 non-Curry "good" chapter lineups.
- Early evidence of DLee + Mulder
- 1 potent Wigs + KO lineup
And in that "1 potent Wigs + KO lineup"??? NO WISEMAN

The clearest choice, to win basketball games is to play Looney more minutes with the starters... i.e. he should start.

But there is more to this story!...
Let's take another look back at that first Draymond 5-man combos picture. Beyond the "Iron-triangle" of Dray-Loon-Steph, note:
- with those 3, Oubre + Baze & Oubre + Wigs are *GOOD* [NOT Baze + Wigs]
...
- Even the "Iron Triangle" or the "lesser triangle" (Steph-Dray-DLee) becomes *BAD* as soon as Wiseman + Oubre/Wigs join them... BREAK UP THAT TRIO.

Speaking of DLee... let's get one thing straight:
DLee is MANDATORY...

And pay careful attention to that top line: DLee + Mulder.
DLee + Mulder = YAY. DLee can also provide a path to functional Wiseman minutes!

Who are the other Wiseman whisperers? Wanamaker, Wiggins, and JTA... which would form a *really* interesting 5 man combo that we haven't seen this year.

The *ONLY* viable 3-man combos with Wiseman:
Let's look at 3-man combos, in general... Here are the ones that are "working" for the Warriors [Note: *Wiseman not included*].

Steph + Looney = GREAT (4/7 lineups), throw in Dray and we're cooking with grease.

3 of the lineups are 'bench mob' groups though: #'s 4, 6, and 7.
Which brings us to Paschall... Here are the 3 "plus" 5-man lineups with Paschall involved:
- Each one has at least 3 of (Curry, DLee, Mulder, Baze, Wanamaker)
- 2 feature *ONE* of Wigs OR Oubre...
So how are we going to solve this unfolding set of conundrums?

Here are the viable Wiseman combos, to start.
- DLee + Mulder + Wanamaker + Steph are the guys that work with him... i.e. *REAL* spacing.
- 3 of those 4 are bench guys... which means Wiseman will *fit* on the bench.
Take a look at how *POTENT* these 4-man combos can be (note that Wiseman is not included...)...
- the "Iron-Triangle" + Oubre or Wiggins or BOTH (without Dray)...

This tells us that the #1 most important move the staff can make is to bench *NOT OUBRE* but *WISEMAN*...
Even if the Warriors are worried about Looney's body breaking down, or his minutes... the numbers are so painfully obvious: replace Wiseman with Looney in the line-up and this team becomes a top-6 seed in the West pretty comfortably.
So how should the rotation work?

Starters: Steph, Wigs, Oubre, Dray, Looney [that much is clear].

Then, assuming Steph and Dray play the full 1st Q, that you still want Paschall starting the 2nd Q, you want to give one of Oubre/Wigs a break, and you want to get Wiseman in...
Give BOTH Oubre and Wigs a break *RIGHT AWAY* sub out ALL-THREE of Wigs, Oubre, Looney...

Bring in DLee, Wiseman, and Mulder [NOT POOLE]...

This still gives Wiseman court-time with Steph and Dray, but adds the crucial spacing for the Steph-Dray pick and roll.
If you make that sub after the 1st 6 mins, then you have the back-half of the 1st sorted (assuming no foul trouble or injuries).

On to the 2nd... You're bringing in Wanamaker, Baze, Oubre, Paschall, while keeping DLee on for a couple mins.
When DLee gets his rest, you can come back with Wiggins, who can play the rest of the half (say at about the 10 min mark of the 2nd/4th Q), and Oubre with Mulder at about 8 mins (unless the Oubre-Wigs combo is working).

That puts it at Wanamaker, Wigs, Baze, Mulder, Paschall.
Then, at 6 mins, we come back to Steph and Dray, who come in for any 2 of Wanamaker, Baze, and Paschall.

And to close 2nd/4th (at about 4 mins) you bring Looney back in for whichever of those 3 is still on the court, and flip DLee or Oubre for Mulder (whoever is on that night).
The mins breakdown needs to get to roughly this (per half):
"Iron Triangle"
Steph - 18
Dray - 16-18 [tied to Steph]
Loon - 10-12 [tied to Dray/Steph]

DLee - 10-12
Mulder - 8-12 [tied to Steph/DLee
Wiseman - 6-10 [tied to DLee + Mulder or Wanamaker/Steph]
...
Wigs - ~14 [never w/ Wiseman]
Oubre - 10-14 [never w/ Wiseman]

Wanamaker - 6-8 [tied to Paschall, Wiggs, and DLee/Mulder]
Paschall - 6-8 [more if Looney/Dray in foul trouble -> Wiseman does NOT get those minutes]

Baze - 6-8 [don't like bifurcating him & Steph, but needs must]
Poole ONLY plays in Mulder's minutes spots (2nd half of 1st/3rd and the middle 2-4 mins of the 2nd/4th) *IF* Mulder is bad, or injured, or in foul trouble.

Now for some rules...
Hard and fast rules:
- Wiseman on the bench, and NEVER plays with Oubre/Wiggins.
- Maximize the "Iron Triangle"
- Wiseman CAN ONLY play with 3 of Steph, DLee, Mulder, Wanamaker.
- Oubre plays with at least 3 of the following, ONLY: Steph, Loon, Wigs, Dray, Wanamaker, Baze...
So any bench mins that Oubre plays have to be with Wigs, Baze, Wanamaker, throw in Paschall and this should be your 5 man unit to for the first half of the 2nd/4th Qs (with DLee getting a few mins to start the Qs before Wigs replaces him, and Mulder getting a few mins over Oubre)
That's what I got...

Please read this someone, and get it to Steve!!!
