Keeping up a relationship with an actually unavailable man is really unhealthy and I decided I wanted my husband, who for all his flaws really believes in family the way I do. It’s the most important thing to us. Our values align. That counts for so much more than y’all know.

Nobody needs to feel pity for anyone who finds the person who can help them reach their goals and build on their dreams. I found that person for me. And I’m his person too. We agree that we could each do fine apart or with other people, but the two of us together are unstoppable.

That’s bigger than love. Love is A reason to be with someone but it’s not enough. Sharing goals, beliefs, and dreams can make a relationship unbreakable. I am learning that. We truly do support each other. Very little else matters to us.
