BREAKING: I have obtained an email from the California Restaurant Association that says @GavinNewsom will be lifting the stay-at-home order for all regions across the state tomorrow. This includes the San Joaquin Valley Region that contains all Central Valley counties
I’m not sure if this means the region will fall back into the tier system, but no matter what it would mean less restrictions. The CRA says it was informed of the lift today by Newsom’s administration but the formal announcement won’t be until tomorrow
This has not been confirmed by the state.
Here’s a look at the email sent to all CRA members.
I interviewed Fresno Restaurant Association President Chuck Van Fleet about the expected announcement. Full story tonight on @KSEE24 & @CBS47 & http://YourCentralValley.com
It’s official, @GavinNewsom has lifted the stay-at-home order for all regions. The regions return to the tier system. Meaning San Joaquin Valley and SoCal will return to the most restrictive tier, purple. This allows for outside dining & salons at limited capacity. Release below
