Couple #CFL trends to watch moving forward.
1- How do you strengthen/empower player branding in this salary environment? With vets having so little guaranteed money?
Tough to create meaningful bonds when players are in and out in <2 seasons.

With less money available across the league, will teams that can offer more away from the field — Hamilton, Winnipeg, etc. — have an advantage?
How will big-market teams (each with very different ownership groups) react?

There’s simply too much player movement in the league right now for players to create bonds with fans.

I love the league, and when my time working in it ended I happily bought two Argos season tix.
It occupies a unique (and important) space in the Canadian sports landscape, but needs to reposition out of COVID in order to ensure sustainability for the generations to come.
