Rape culture is teaching teen girls that "nonconsensual sex" (most of us call that rape) can "center pleasure and agency" and that the "seemingly racist or sexist" is just "self-aware and feminist"! Don't trust your eyes, there's no such thing as violence against women

I'm just a Twitter user with a cat, but I think the message to give teen girls instead is that they should trust their gut and refuse to be boiled-frogged into accepting sexism and racism as an acceptable part of sex, or to be gaslit into thinking that consent is negotiable

Also, just while we are here, I think it's absurd that *this* is the defense that's given to the charge that porn is inherently misogynistic. They don't say "yeah there is bad porn just like there is bad anything", they say "actually maybe rape, sexism, and racism are good"

For all the billions of dollars and gigabytes that the pornography industry has to its name, if you got rid of the "seemingly sexist and racist", there would be nothing left to defend
