Signs your inner child needs Healing:

* You criticise yourself for being inadequate

* In the deepest part of you, you feel there is something wrong with you

* You feel guilty when you have to stand up for yourself

* You avoid conflicts at all cost

* You struggle in saying NO
* you never felt close to one or both of your parents

* Fear of abandonment leads you to self sabotage the relationship

* You have addiction issues

* You don't trust anyone including yourself

* Ashamed of showing strong emotions like anger or love
* you have sex even when you weren't interested or wanted to

* Fear of abandonment makes you hold on to toxic relationships

* You are ashamed of your body

* You watch too much pornography

* You have problem in letting go

* You are a people pleaser and lack a strong identity
If you said yes to atleast 8 of the above points then healing your inner child must be on your priority list.

Some points which I see helping:

* Writing letters to yourself
* Write letter from your inner child to yourself
* Share your pain with a trusted person in your life
* Self love affirmations
* Be your own nurturer
* Let your inner child feel heard
* Express love

Disclaimer: Inner child work involves dealing with lot of pain but there is much joy, freedom and vitality which can be experienced through this.
