The addition of giving the water a voice truly takes this to an entire other plane. Such a deft move, and gives such unique perspective to this tragic story.
Despite repeated warnings about the condition of the dam, no improvements were made. Instead many of the upgrades made to the lake's private club (frequented by some of the wealthiest men of the time) made the dam even more unstable.
Jumping into life right before the flood, during, and then coping with the after, this book is sure to intrigue anyone interested in history, environment, and justice.
