Super loving the blue state residents in the comments who have never had to lift a finger to get local Democrats elected saying that we deserve Sarah Huckabee Sanders 🖕🏻 https://twitter.com/jdawsey1/status/1353505531231678464
You are not morally superior because other people near you vote for Democrats.
Also, to all the out of state folks who are providing advice on what Arkansas can do - thank you, and I promise you there are many of us who have a grasp on what the current challenges are.

There are a lot of great Arkansans who have a rich understanding of what needs
To be done. And to understand how Arkansas needs to move forward, you need to have an understanding of how we got here in the first place. Some of the challenges right now:

1. The state Democratic Party infrastructure is not strong enough to support races throughout the state
2. Along with that lack of infrastructure, there are a lack of D candidates in many, MANY races

3. Anti-choice culture is pervasive

4. We are *at least* two decades - probably four - away from voting blocs shifting the way we need statewide
Anyway, those are some of the things I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there are many more, and I'm sure there are in-state people who are far smarter than me who would disagree with some of these (or at least who would input some nuance)
And I think there is a lot of criticism to be directed toward the Democratic Party of Ark - I'm not sure if the flip could have been stopped, but it could have been much less of a hemorrhaging. However, there are a lot of folks doing grassroots work and it's impressive as hell.
