Atheism lacks an object of attachment and as such, we can never be so attached to an argument that we refuse to concede when it’s wrong. The same can’t be said of Theists because their object of attachment is God. This is why they don’t abandon arguments for God. #atheism

So many of their arguments have been defeated, or at the very least, require amendments. Yet we continue to see the same Kalam, Fine-Tuning, Moral, etc. arguments. No concessions or amendments have been made. This is an obvious attachment to the arguments. #atheism #christianity

Any pretense of an amended argument is actually a different argument that caters to metaphysical bias. Evidentialists prefer the Kalam. Thomists prefer Aquinas’ first three ways. This is not an example of amending an argument or abandoning it. #atheism #christianity

All there is an ever-burgeoning number of arguments, each of which are very likely problematic, and just as likely to be obstinately adhered to and repeated well after they’ve been adequately dealt with. This is a critical problem for PoR. #atheism #christianity

I am not in the camp of atheists who say Theism is a rational position. The capacity to rationalize a faulty position isn’t tantamount to the view proving rational. This is aside from the fact that the arguments result in systematic failure. #atheism #christianity

Think again of divine simplicity and how the notion of a part-less God contradicts Jesus’ heavenly body, perhaps as the perfect “copy” of man, which Paul alludes to in 1 Corinthians 15:45 especially in light of John 1:1. #atheism #christianity

For God to be part-less, no person or mode within the Trinity can have parts. Jesus has parts. So divine simplicity, pure actuality, is incongruous with Christ. So a lot of Theistic arguments are not Christian arguments, which is an issue if you claim to be Christian. #atheism

Once the apologist attempts systematization, perhaps by inserting Christ back into their Christianity, they will realize that apologetics is just another false doctrine alluded to in 2 Timothy 4:3. #atheism #christianity

Rationalizations are not equivalent to rational arguments. Also, one has to realize that, for Catholics, Summa Theologica takes precedence over the Catechisms and the Bible, and so, this is of no concern to them. #atheism #christianity

That is, until they start touting Eucharistic miracles. Then you’re reminded that Christ does occur to them when it’s convenient. As such, Christian apologists, Orthodox, Protestant, or Catholic, avoid systematization because they know it threatens their faith. #atheism
