Incomplete vaccine coverage offers a false sense of security.

So far India has covered 1.6 million heath workers spread over 28,613 sessions in 9 days.

To cover the 300 million persons with comorbidities and elderly in the next three months, India needs to vaccinate -3.3 million persons per day

India has
-3.07 million registered nurses
- 208,000 Auxiliary Nurse-Midwife (ANMs)
-1.2 million allopathic doctors

ANMs can give IM injection along with nursing professionals. Seeking the help of 130,000 nurses along with ANMs, India can implement 333k sessions per day.

At block level, for a population of 100,000, adults ~50% of population,

- 5000 T2DM (~10%)
-16500 Hypertension (~33%)
-7000 Elderly (~7%)
-1500 other illness
- Total: 30000 (ingoring multimorbidity)

Requires
-300 sessions to cover in 1 day or
-30 sessions can cover in 10 days

By repeating these efforts with a gap of 12 weeks, the 333k teams of health workers have to keep engaged for 6 months to administer two doses to 300 million people who are vulnerable.
