A lot of people have asked me how FOX and CBS are getting these cool, “11th camera” shots.

First of all, it’s very telling that people are noticing these cool shots. We’re so used to seeing great stuff on social all day.

A quick 🧵
This is what FOX is using for their 11th camera.

The Sony A7R IV with 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. They’re pairing it with a DJI Ronin-S gimbal, a field monitor and a 1080p wireless transmitter.

Price: ~$10k
CBS is going about it a little different, using a more traditional steadicam setup with Sony Venice cameras.

Price: starting at $50k
This is nothing new to anyone that has followed #SMSports here on Twitter. That cinematic look has been popularized by college and pro social media teams.

Remember this from @LSUfootball? Similar setup to what FOX is using.
