On the Paris Commune (thread)
The Paris commune is a very underrepresented and criminally ignored section of history that provides great insight on our struggle and how our enemy operates and who helps them.
For those who do not know, it took place during the Franco-Prussian war when leftist organizers took to the streets after a combination of food shortage and military defeats during the war.
Much of the people involved were European leftists, anarchists, feminists, and socialists who were once in the underground of society and this provided for a great opportunity for them to learn how to organize and overthrow.
However, it was crushed upon the entrance of the Prussian army upon entering the city with the help of French conservatives but the time that they governed Paris meant that although conquered, they now had the knowledge of how to subvert a nation from scratch.
What took place in the city was premonitory to what had occurred in Russia later. The rape of nuns, desecration of the old image of France, and a secularized state, though the Paris commune was the first.
Thus this paved the blueprint for successfully overthrowing of a host nation and allowed for the horrors of bolshevism to occurr and kill millions of Russians.
