I have deliberately not drawn any conclusions or made any suggestions as to correlation and causation. Just to note only 11% of over 80s have had both doses by 21st January.

There are many possible causes

1 deaths are from those pre infected with covid.
2 denial of normal health service leading to increased deaths.
3 link between vaccination and positve test leading to increase of covid linked deaths
4 factors linked to lockdown and coding of death

5 all factors linked above and finally and least likely a vaccination associated risk.

So many variables.

The concern is where and what has happened to care home shielding!!
