How to get through this pandemic

Without capitulating to demonic forces around you

+ THREAD +
1. Go back to your roots

We all have some long-forgotten hobbies that we don’t quite know why we dropped

Writing? Painting? Playing instruments? Whatever it may be, now is an excellent time to give it another go. Who knows, maybe it will become a new passion of yours
2. Call people you haven’t talked to for ages

They’re probably feeling just as lonely as you do. Even if you don't fancy each other, they will appreciate your unexpected check-up 3x more now than they would normally do

Just pick up your phone and dial, don’t overthink it
3. Take undisturbed quiet walks

Or go for a run. But make sure you don’t take your smartphone / smartband / smartwatch or any other “smart” crap

Don’t take anything with you. Just go out and breathe out
4. Read a fiction book

Seriously. Give all those non-fiction and self-development books a long deserved break

Take a trip to some other world, cut yourself off this constant do-this-do-that nonsense. Never read The Lord of the Rings before? Good, now is a perfect time
5. Listen to real music

I get it, Future is kewl, but why not try something different?

Pop Mozart on, or anything that doesn’t constantly praise Pateks, Lambos and “getting the bag”. The bag isn’t going anywhere, but don’t make it your priority today
6. Look at the stars

For real. When was the last time you did?

Take a look at all the glory above you, zoom out for a second, and you will see just how silly and irrelevant 90% of what we’re doing really is
7. Rebuild your relationship with God

If all that's happening doesn't make you at least wonder, what will?

This pandemic is a gift. Given to us so we can reflect on our lives and see ourselves for who we truly are

Search for Him and He will let Himself be found by you
