Okay so i have seen a lot of people asking what exactly is going on in the netherlands. So hereby a short explanation. #rellen #avondklok #coronaprotest
This Saturday (23/01) a curfew was set in the netherlands at least untill 09/02. People are mad and are protesting. The protest turned more into riots and at this point it is not Covid related anymore. In several cities there are riots at the moment.
Earlier Today there were riots in Amsterdam and Eindhoven. Right now there are riots all over the country and even stores that are struggling and hospitals are the victim. The newsstations talk about a 'tense atmosphere' but it is just straight up riots.
Some political parties are not helping either with their tweets about being against the curfew.
I do not encourage any of this behaviour, neither should you. this is just informative. I will add some videos as well

The demonstration in Eindhoven was requested by Pegida and denied by the city. I dont have a quick way to explain who they are so here is the english wikipedia page
