A major problem with Liverpool at the moment is having a consistent team choice without any strange inclusions in the squad.

The last time we said, “that’s the strongest team we could field” was possibly against Crystal Palace, albeit Minamino started but had a great game. #LFC
Since then we’ve gone into games with so many alterations. This will not help us and I believe it’s been a big factor in recent weeks.

West Brom (1-1): No Thiago, winning 1-0 Matip injured on comes Williams, draw 1-1. A game we were in total control before Matip made way. #LFC
Newcastle (0-0): Milner starts, Phillips starts due to Matip injury. Struggled but created chances, Thiago came on and made a notable difference, wasn’t enough on the night. Few questionable decisions against us once again. #LFC
Southampton (1-0L): Still no Matip, Henderson at centre back. Ox makes a first start in months. 1 early error and very minimal chances given away, but again dominated, created chances and lacked the end product. That loss hurt a lot, confidence was on the floor. #LFC
Man United (0-0): This time against the league leaders, Henderson once again started at centre back. Shaqiri started in midfield, could tell fitness level wasn’t good enough. Created plenty of chances and at times looked like the Liverpool of last season. Could’ve lost it. #LFC
Burnley (1-0L): Matip returns, Shaqiri again in midfield, Origi & Ox start in front three. Origi missed a huge chance to settle the nerves, most shots in a game for us this season, still no goal. Soft penalty given away, all Burnley offered. #LFC
Man United FA Cup (3-2L): Mass changes understandable but there was improvements in the style of play. Again no Matip, Williams had a rough game, Jones returned with a good performance and we found the net. Best performance this month but again the wrong side of the result. #LFC
Liverpool are in a rough patch. It’s evident a centre back is needed and Klopp has said that this week.

He’s not received the backing & trying his best to make things work with the tools he’s got.

Changing the system weekly doesn’t help, consistency goes out the window. #LFC
Our fortunes will change, the team have to stick together and so do the supporters.

Results will start going our way, hopefully Thursday is going to be a fresh start for Liverpool. #LFC
I know people will say, “but we have to rotate.”

Yes, that’s correct. But we’ve been rotating players in the wrong positions, we’ve been rotating the wrong players in my opinion.

Don’t forget, our conductor in midfield is currently performing as the leader in defence. #LFC
