Upon realizing a state of unconventional war currently exists worldwide, each nation wishing to contribute toward victory for freedom, democracy, and peaceful coexistence must immediately begin taking action to break online media measurement and feedback loops.

Every allied nation needs to do this individually.
The enemy will continue finding and creating ways to subvert your sovereignty and corrupt your halls of power as long as they have capacity to receive accurate measurements of the effects their messaging has upon your population.

Break the feedback loop. You can’t stop the messaging from getting “in”, but you can strictly criminalize the act of measuring and reporting back the resulting effect that messaging has in your citizens as individuals and as a whole.

Be transparent and emphatic about this. Sending “media metrics” and other measurement reports to foreign entities absolutely is, at this current point in time, *treason*. You need to make this clear.

People generally don’t realize it yet. They don’t see the big picture and they don’t understand that this kind of manipulation en masse is even possible or effective.

But it is and we need to fight it as a very serious weapon of war being utilized against democracies worldwide to great effect this very moment.
The worst is yet to come. Take a step back and look at the big picture over time.
