Of course if a trans or non-binary person wants to tell me their preferred pronouns, I will listen. Just like if a person wants to tell me their preferred name, I will listen. But I am baffled by the new craze

amongst woke liberals of putting their pronouns in their bios or email signatures. If this is an act of solidarity with trans individuals, then why not put your race/religion/disability or any other protected characteristic or lack thereof into your bio.or email signature?

The Equality Act does not have any hierarchy regarding the protected characteristics. Why are you creating a hierarchy regarding sex or gender identity over any other protected characteristic? Do you think hierarchies exist? If so then you have missed the point.

And if you are a straight white middle-class man, do you not realise that putting he/him into your bio or email signature is not just an acr of supposed solidarity but also an act of misogyny and silencing of the very minority group (women) that your people have subjugated

and oppressed throughout history in almost every society? Enough already. We should be able to have these discussions without the oppressor class dictating how the rest of us interact, discuss, and resolve conflicts of rights.

Postactipt: if you're quetuing whether a vulnerable group (trans) has it worse than others, look at the Holocaust. If that doesnt answer your question how about Yazidis or Rohingya or Kurds. If you're still here, how about we minorities fight for rather than against one another
