This meant our admin staff had a mammoth task of booking over 1000 people in 2 days for the weekend.
Remember, the pfizer vaccine is tricky- once thawed, it can only be stored in a fridge for 5 days. And once a vial is open, it needs using in a matter of hours... 2/16

All the staff were trained how to prepare and safely administer this very delicate vaccine, and the venue was prepared to ensure the environment was as safe as possible for those coming through our doors. Note all the open doors for #FreshAir- 5/16
The Highways dept of the local authority @CyngorGwynedd came to deliver 150 cones and some patients were ferried to our vaccination centre safely by @LlynCoastalBus (O ddrws i ddrws) and our neighbours gave space for parking. Diolch i @CwrwLlyn a @DwyforCoffee 6/16
The clever traffic system was devised and monitored by this utterly cracking team of Police Officers, under the leadership of Sargeant Jones of south Gwynedd division of @NWPolice, and supported by an army of stewards from @CpdNefyn @plasglyn @NefynSpar_ and local tradesmen 7/16 https://twitter.com/nwpgwyneddsouth/status/1353009359224242190
Witnessing the joy that people felt of receiving their vaccine was a truly amazing and humbling experience to witness: 8/16
600 vaccines done on day 1- we were cooking on gas! But mother nature decided to make it harder for all of us. Here’s my drive in this morning for day 2. I can’t emphasise how rare it is to get snow that sticks- it literally never happens!!! 10/16
But @CyngorGwynedd gritters came out, and everyone with a shovel in hand, cleared the area. Again- @NWPGwyneddSouth put in a shift.
We thought people wouldn’t come, but they did. They found 4x4 and @LlynCoastalBus kept going along with local taxi companies 11/16

We thought the bad weather would turn people away from coming. They were coming from all over Llŷn and Eifionnydd, as far as Cricieth and Porthmadog.... 12/16
All 195 vials used up, an empty pfizer tray, no wasted doses, happy vaccinated people and relatives... 14/16 https://twitter.com/siangwenfelin/status/1353329516010233857
I can truly say that I am in total awe of everyone who made this happen and succeed. With so little time given to prepare, a dump of snow on the 2nd day, and coordinating a team in excess of circa 50 people to deliver over a 1000 vaccines that people thought we couldn’t do. 15/16
