I used @py_ball_ to see which players were more active on defense as opposed to offense. Turns out, that is only true for one player in the entire league this season! Priors are definitely confirmed here, though, as some of the worst defenders are way more active on offense (1/4)
while some of the best defenders travel close to the same distance on both sides of the ball (Okogie, Tucker, Trezz, etc).

Also, I thought it would be interesting to check the relationship between average player speed and their age. (2/4)
Turns out player age only explains 15% of the variation in average player speed, but it does effect each position differently:

C: age explains 23% of the variation in average player speed
F: 19%
G: 11%

Of course, this is a small sample (only this season) and I definitely plan to look into this further, but initial results do seem to make sense: Centers obviously have a lot bigger bodies than guards, and perhaps their joints may be more susceptible to aging? (4/4)
