1. Worship “the Emperor,” that is look to a politician as the harbinger of hope or doom.

2. Refuse to critique our party’s/politician’s wrongs or hold them accountable.
3. Lower our bar of character & decency for ends-justify-the-means pragmatism.

4. Ordain a manmade political philosophy as God’s will.

5. Elevate our earthly citizenship to the level of kingdom citizenship.

6. Blend Christian language & symbols w/patriotic language & symbols.
7. Equate the USA with biblical Israel or the Church & claim promises given to biblical Israel or the Church for our country.

8. Assume suffering in the USA is a sign of the end times when worse suffering has happened and is happening around the world.
9. Try and get our political way through anything other than Christian methods and weapons.

10. Allow fear to degrade our hope and trust in King Jesus.
