No, you do not have to fix every world issue prior to advocating for the preborn. Bringing up children at the border, kids in foster care, child abuse, etc. is a red herring meant to deflect from talking about the issue at hand; abortion.
Every cause can and should have advocates who make that their focus. No one expects the American Diabetes to cure cancer or those who fight domestic violence to solve world hunger.
Abortion extremists don’t solve any of these issues they suggest they care so deeply for when trying to tear down a pro-life argument. Killing a baby does nothing for the children already experiencing abuse, likewise with a baby being born.
Could a born child potentially experience trauma at some point? Absolutely, we all do, but we’re not better off dead because of it. Life is full of risks and unknowns and babies are worthy of life regardless.
When you bring up other issues meant to deflect from abortion, it only shows you’re uncomfortable talking about it. In which case I ask why? Why is it uncomfortable? Is it because you ultimately know it’s wrong, and your red herring is your attempt to convince yourself otherwise?
If talking about abortion, watching an abortion or seeing a dismembered baby makes you uncomfortable, then maybe you shouldn’t tolerate it after all.
