This week is going to be brutal in terms of votes on trans lives in state legislatures. We have a lot of attacks at once. Here is what is happening and what you can do.
Tomorrow, Monday 1/25, the Montana House is going to vote on two anti-trans bills, HB 112 (banning trans kids from sports) and HB 113 (banning health care for trans kids). If you are from Montana, contact your legislators and tell them to vote NO.
Tomorrow, Monday 1/25, North Dakota will have a House hearing on HB1298, a bill that bars trans youth from sports and prohibits any government facility from being used for any sports event that might include trans kids. Contact your legislators and tell them to vote NO.
On Tuesday 1/26, South Dakota will have a hearing on HB1076 which bars trans people from updating their birth certificate and codifies an anti-trans definition of sex. Contact your #SDLeg and tell them to vote NO on HB 1076.
