Ever thought about the amount of pressure society really puts on us? We tend to brush it under the carpet, but following a few conversations over the last week I've had a ponder.... a thread:
We all do it, we all judge, we all make assumptions. When do we do it with all of the facts though, really?
When did you last go to the gym?
Have you been for a run today?
How far did you run?
Why aren't you dating?
When are you getting married?
When are you having children?

What if we're getting back into exercise after injury, or personal circumstances. Why must it matter how far that run was, or how fast it was? What matters is we are able to do the exercise.
What if we've had difficult previous dating experiences, violent relationships, had our trust broken. Maybe dating terrifies us. What matters is how we feel in ourselves, not the presumption we need somebody else.
What if we don't want to get married? Why should we be made to feel uncomfortable and having to justify our decisions as a result of a poorly thought through question?
What if we don't want children? What if we want them more than anything and can't have them? What if we've lost children in the past? That questions hurts us every time it is asked.
