Dear parents of kids ages 0-18,

We need to talk. I'm concerned about some of the things your kids are facing without adequate support from you. Specifically, Pornography, and pornography.
What's the difference? One is recognized for what it is, the other isn't.

We need to talk. I'm concerned about some of the things your kids are facing without adequate support from you. Specifically, Pornography, and pornography.
What's the difference? One is recognized for what it is, the other isn't.
One is produced with the intent to be distributed as Pornography, the other is produced with the intent to be distributed as entertainment.
Both are pornography. Both are spiritually destructive. Sadly, both are available in just about every technological setting.

I'm concerned, however, that because Babylon only classifies one as pornography that many of our kids are being deceived. They are consuming filth in video games, TV shows, movies, and across social media platforms, assuming they're safe because it's not Pornography.
Are you talking to your kids about these dangers? Are you even aware of the ways they can access this garbage? I doubt you are.
How do you protect your kids against an enemy you barely understand? How can you warn them against dangers you don't see yourself?

How are they supposed to come to you when they feel guilt when the subject of pornography is only barely discussed and always through awkward conversations?
We don't have the luxury of being complacent. Pray for guidance, then take action. Our children need us.
