Then they go before a family court judge who orders them to peacefully coparent with the abuser they just fled.

Why? Because men’s rights activists organized, created a false narrative that millions of fathers are unfairly excluded from parenting bc “women have privilege of reproduction rights,” and convinced the federal government to fund their quest for control of their families.
The Fathers’ Rights orgs started forming. They got to work reaching every realm of the legal system from lawyers to legislators. They reached beyond that into forensic psychology. They created + still dominate cottage industries of family law. They generate 50 BILLION A YEAR.
Those of you who are passionate about championing reproductive freedom of choice, gender equality, body autonomy and passing the #ERA: abused moms NEED to be included in your causes. Together we flipped the WH, Senate and majority in Congress. But our courts are a MESS.
