As the vaccines for #COVID19 roll out here is a reminder about them using dogs!
Some are #mRNA , a new but not unknown vaccine technology. mRNA is a messaging system and the mRNA vaccine tells ours cells to make the spike protein COVID has which is how it attaches to us.

The Spike Protein makes our immune system freak out. It shouldn’t be in our body and an immune response occurs. Our body remembers those spike proteins and after your second shot you are really ready if you get #SARSCoV2 for real. Your immune system is on alert!

What about other vaccines for Covid? The Oxford vaccine is different-DNA is inserted into an adenovirus which enters the human cells but can’t duplicate. The altered virus forces cells to make mRNA which then makes the cell build spike protein. Pow. Immune response

The vaccines have all been shown to be effective and safe with a tiny percentage of humans having allergic reactions. Some people can’t get vaccinated and they rely on as many people getting the poke as possible!
Imagine life being normal again!
