More details for transit projects submitted for grants to the Italian government.
Turin:
- 2km extension of M1 - 200m€
- new RS and signaling modernization for M1 - 300m€
- Further funds for M2 so as to start with an initial 13km section for 1.4bn€ (800m already secured)

- two new tramway lines. In particular, the new line 12, that will use the abandoned trench of rail line to Cirié-Lanzo, and, also, the u/g alignment of the same line built in the 90s and recently abandoned for a new one - 220m€
- 5 new electric BRTs
- New tramways (in addition to the 70 ones purchased in 2018 and that will start delivering in 2021)

Not sure the city will get all the money is asking for, but if they do, it's a big step forward for Turin's transit.

Interesting trend in this round of transit grant submissions: many electric BRT lines and/or trolleybus with in-motion-charging.
