I’ve been in hospital recovering from surgery for3 weeks and I can’t believe I actually have to come online to comment on the Peggy’sCove UPGRADES,but here we are. For the 30 years since my injury that put me in a wheelchair I have been relying on the beauty of my home1/
2/province to quench and nourish my inner Nova Scotian,feeling the brisk salt air blow my worries away and filling ny lungs with a connection to our history as a place of hardworking and hospitable people.
People who care for those around them and want them included and

4/So imagine my feelings as I lay in hospital dreaming on the day I can once again get out to my beloved Lawrencetown and PeggysCove that many of my fellow Bluenosers don’t think I should be allowed to enjoy these parts of our “common wealth” as equals.
5/How would you imagine this makes me feel?
I don’t feel equal,accepted,or even valued as a Nova Scotian.
Instead I feel like an unsightly thing that has no place in the beautiful landscapes of our home province.
