It’s great to have so much debate about independence in Scotland, Wales and reunification talk in Ireland. At the least, people start to question the status quo, and the economic dependency question.
Wales has a red problem though. 1/
Which is the prospect of Scottish Independence. If that happens, the Tory hold over Westminster will be almost permanent.
This would make our MPs (more?) irrelevant and risk a reduction in devolved powers, meaning ever more dependency. 2/
Which is why I think a vote for Plaid Cymru in May is essential. Things may be much worse by 2029 if we continue as a mere region of England and Wales. No disrespect to Cornwall, but we risk becoming like Cornwall
